EFTRE Membership
EFTRE cherishes all its members whether their home is in the East or the West, in the classroom or in the lecture hall, in a Church or in a non-religious community. It is this variety that enriches and strengthens the EFTRE family. New members are always welcome.

Types of Membership
Organisational membership
Organisations, institutions and groups who represent those who are involved in teaching, teacher education or support the teaching of Religious Education, Values Education or Spiritual and Moral Education are welcome to become organisational members of EFTRE. This could include schools, school boards, university/research/church departments, teacher associations, publishers or commercial organisations.
As an organisational member you will extend your professional network to like-minded organisations across Europe, have opportunities to share your own projects and success stories as well as learn about RE developments in other countries at workshops and conferences. EFTRE is run by volunteers. Every membership contribution helps to make it possible to offer activities, information and exchange opportunities across Europe.
Organisational membership fee is €100/£90 per year.*
Individual membership
Individuals who are involved in teaching, teacher education or support the teaching of Religious Education, Values Education or Spiritual and Moral Education are welcome to become individual members of EFTRE. As an individual member you will extend your professional network across Europe, learn about new ideas for RE at workshops and conferences and be enriched by Europe’s diversity in people, religions and cultures. * In case the payment of the standard fees is not possible for you, EFTRE tries to find an individual solution. No membership should fail because of the costs. Please simply make a corresponding entry when filling out the registration form.
